World Of WearableArt (WOW)
Since its humble beginnings in 1987, the Brancott Estate World of WearableArt Show has been wowing audiences with extraordinary performances of art, choreography, music, lighting, drama and comedy. An idea dreamed up by Suzie Moncrieff, the World of WearableArt Show is an annual extravaganza held in Wellington, that intertwines both art and fashion into a breathtaking theatrical display, known as the most creative event on the international design, fashion and costume calendar.
The 2011 show season dates are from 25 August to 10 September. Tickets for the WOW shows sell out very quickly so if you are thinking about going, be sure to organise tickets and accommodation as soon as possible.
